Introduction of My Food-related Book

Currently, I'm reading a book. The book's title is "Uncommon Grounds". The author is Mark Pendergrast. He wrote about how coffee had dominated the economies, politics and social structures of entire countries in this book.

The reason why I chose this book is that I am interested in coffee. I work at a part-time job in a coffee shop. As I worked there, I wanted to get more knowledge about coffee such as history, business, and industry. So, I hope that this book will give them to me.

I haven't read all pages yet, but this book has already given some knowledge to me. For example, the bean called pea berry is considered by someone to possess a slightly more concentrated taste. Also, the pioneer of coffee plantation in Guatemala were German immigrants. I didn't know that the origin of coffee in Guatemala was plantation before reading this book. Thus, this book give me a lot of interesting information. So, I am looking forward to reading the rest of it.
